REVIEWING OF COSTA ITINERARIES

Dear Travel Agent,

As you may have learned, the alert level for CoVid-19 declared by the World Health Organization is high and this has led the health authorities of some countries to further increase their precautionary measures by introducing a series of bans on entry into their territories.

In the light of the above, as of yesterday night the Italian Government decided to strengthen the precautionary measures already in place for days in order to counter and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Such measures have been issued to restrict people’s access on the Italian Territory until the situation is back to normality.

The above government decision, which has been taken to preserve the health and safety of all people in such critical situation worldwide, is something totally unexpected but as we all are called to contribute to this crucial and essential social cause, also through the strict application of the laws, we are reviewing the itineraries of some of our ships.

Specifically the changes in itineraries or embarkation/disembarkation are the following:

COSTA SMERALDA
Stop of cruises up to 4/4. In details: 
12/3 Civitavecchia: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax stay onboard 
13/3 La Spezia: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax stay onboard
14/3 Savona: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax stay onboard
15/3 Marseille: no embarkation, other activities regularly performed 
16/3 Barcelona: no embarkation, other activities regularly performed

Cruises departing 14/3, 21/3 and 28/3 are cancelled. The ship will start again on 4/4 in Savona

COSTA DIADEMA
The ship arriving from Emirates will operate as follows:
2/4 Catania: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax onboard
3/4 Naples: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax onboard
4/4 Civitavecchia: operations will restart as per program

COSTA PACIFICA

The ship arriving from South America will operate as follows:
21/3 Barcelona: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax onboard
22/3 Marseille: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax onboard
23/3 Genoa: only disembarkation.

Cruises departing 23/3, 27/3 and 3/4 are cancelled. The ship will start again on 4/4 in Barcelona

COSTA FASCINOSA
The ship arrives in Genoa on 3/5. No impact on operations and itinerary

COSTA FAVOLOSA
The ship arrives in Savona on 10/4. No impact on operations and itinerary

COSTA MAGICA
The ship arriving from Guadeloupe will operate as follows: 
1/4 Barcelona: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax onboard
2/4 Savona: only disembarkation, no excursions, no transit.
3/4 Barcelona: operations will restart as per program


COSTA FORTUNA 
Operations will restart as per program on 9/4 in Savona. 

COSTA LUMINOSA
The ship arriving from Miami will operate as follows: 
21/3 Savona: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax stay onboard
22/3 Naples: only disembarkation, no excursions, all transit pax stay onboard
25/3 Venice only disembarkation. The ship stops. 
Operations will restart as per program on 5/4 in Venice

COSTA DELIZIOSA
Itinerary change in progress. 
The ship will start its 7 day program on 26/4 in Venice. 

COSTA MEDITERRANEA
The ship arriving from Indian Ocean will operate as per program from 10/4 in Venice.

COSTA VICTORIA
The ship arriving from Indian Ocean will operate as follows:
28/3 Venice: disembarkation of all guests and stop of all operations

Cruises departing on 28/3, 31/, 10/4 and 14/4 are cancelled

Operations will restart as per program on 25/4 in Venice. 

In light of the situation, Costa is offering to its clients a voucher the value of which is equal to 100% of the price paid for the cruise being cancelled, to be used by 12 months as of the day of its issuance (except for departures of Easter, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and World tour cruise and its routes), so that Guests will be able to enjoy cruising with us at a later time.

We are pleased to inform you that the voucher will be issued on request also in favor of customers who have canceled one of the cruises of the previous table starting from last February 22, 2020, when the first restrictive measures were introduced in Italy following the Covid-19 emergency.

For those Guests who have booked and had to cancel additional services such as flights or pre-post stays in Hotel in connection with their cruise, Costa Crociere offers to reimburse the penalty applied by the Airline or by the Hotel, upon presentation of an official document clearly showing the penalty applied for each service.
