GENERAL INFO

In order to complete the booking, and according to the company policy, it is necessary for you to provide full details of all participants (Full Name, Date and Place of Birth) as they are shown on your Passport(s)/ID(s) (depending on the cruise type you have selected). It is also necessary to provide an Emergency Contact (friend or relative) and full contact details (Full name and mobile number) of this person.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they fulfil all passport and visa requirements for all countries visited during the cruise and when travelling to and from the port of embarkation/disembarkation.
EU citizens need a full passport which must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond their return.
A passport is also required for all European sailings (exception: citizens of Schengen States cruising on itineraries that do not leave EU territory).
During most cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line personnel will need to retain your passport. You therefore have to carry a second government-issued photo ID with you at all times. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to provide all necessary documentation.
Guests are not entitled to a refund if entry into any foreign territory or boarding is denied due to lack of proper documents.
If you would like to go ashore in Russia (St. Petersburg) independently, i.e. not as part of an organized Shore Excursion by Norwegian Cruise Line, you need to obtain a valid tourist visa prior to your cruise.

Our measures against COVID-19

The safety and well-being of guests and team members are Norwegian Cruise Line's number one priority. The company has a Chief Medical Officer on staff as well as dozens of medical professionals throughout its fleet, and it continues to consult with The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to make the best decisions possible and take appropriate action as needed.

Norwegian Cruise Line is very proud of the protocols and preventative measures it has in place to address concerns regarding COVID-19. In addition to extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols on board all voyages and health screenings of passengers and crew members, the Company has been denying boarding to guests who have travelled from, visited or transited via high-risk areas; and it has modified several sailings to avoid areas of concern.

At the current time, our plans are to avoid any area that is denoted as a 'Level 4 - do not travel' area by the State Department at the time of voyage. We will modify any itinerary visiting those areas approximately 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid last-minute changes. As always, we will continue to monitor all State Department advisories and take appropriate action as necessary.

THE CRUISE

DAY ARRIVAL DEPARTURE
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy - 19:00

Our gateway to the Eternal City, Civitavecchia has served as Rome's seaport since the 13th century, boasting a long and venerable history. Its location near the modern city, made it a perfect vacation resort for emperor Trajan, who built a pleasure villa. while Bernini and Michelangelo designed the harbor fortifications. Yet the Eternal City, the ancient capital of the Western World and the center of Christianity for nearly 2.000 years, is our main reason to be here. YYou can visit the ruins of the Forum and the Colosseum, throw a coin in Fontana di Trevi to make sure you return to Rome one day, take a photo in front of the Vatican, view the splendors of the Sistine Chapel or climb the Spanish Steps, once the heart of Rome's Bohemian Quarter and enjoy a delicious gelato, in the glamorous area.

Naples, Italy 06:45 19:00

Naples is the third-largest municipality in Italy, after Rome and Milan and one of the chief commercial cities of Europe. The city center has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the surrounding areas are dotted with cultural and historical treasures, with most notable, the restored ruins of Pompeii. Naples itself is mere enduring greatness. Highlights include Castel dell' Ovo, Castelnuovo, Castel Sant'Elmo, a medieval fortress located on a hilltop and national museums dedicated to art and archaeology. There is also a docile bay; the peaceful cypress-tufted islands of Ischia, Procida and Capri and over the city, Mount Vesuvius, volcano and national park. Take the opportunity to see the only active volcano on the European mainland, which blew in A.D. 79 and buried the city of Pompeii, or visit the magnificent Amalfi and Sorrento coasts.

Messina, Italy 07:00 18:00

Founded by Greek colonists in the 8th century BC, Messina is the 3rd largest city on the island of Sicily and the 13th largest city in Italy. The town is amphitheatrically built on top of a hill overlooking the sea and offers great views. While you wander around its alleys, you will see the Cathedral (12th century) and notice especially the Chapel of the Sacrament (late 16th century), with scenic decorations and 14th century mosaics and a bell tower which holds one of the largest astronomical clocks in the world. Among other main attractions are the Palazzo Calapaj, an example of 18th century Messinese architecture, San Ranieri lighthouse (1555), Galleria d'Arte Contemporanea di Messina, hosting notable paintings by Caravaggio and Antonello da Messina, the Fountain of Orion, located next to the Cathedral and the Fountain of Neptune, looking towards the harbour, both built by Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli in 1547 and 1557 respectivelly. Visit the old Castello Quarter, with the narrow and shaded streets and the old buildings, or enjoy the wide and expansive beaches of Sardinia, basking in the Mediterranean sun. All over the island, there are traces of ancient settlements, such as neolithic ruins at Nora; Phoenician, Cathaginian and Roman relics near Cagliari; and Arab, Genoese and Iberian heritage evident in architecture dating back to the Middle Ages.

Palma De Mallorca, Spain 11:00 20:00

Palma is a busy commercial and cultural center, capital city of the autonomous community of the Balearic Islands of Spain. Situated on the south coast of the island on the Bay of Palma, it became a tourist destination in the 1950s and till today it is considered as one of Europe’s major holiday destinations. The historic centre is the oldest part of the city and a refreshing area for a stroll at the narrow and shady streets, which will give you a chance to peek in at a number of private courtyards. The city flourished during the 19th century and today, it mixes perfectly, the modern hotel chains and flashy shops with the old architecture in the Old Town. A walk along the narrow streets will reveal the restored 13-th century cathedral standing proud in the center of town. Among Palma's lovely sights are the Gothic-style Bellver Castle, the Almudaina Palace, once home to Mallorcan kings, the Arab bath building, the only building dating to the Arab settlement, Plaça del Mercat and interesting art nouveau buildings.

Barcelona, Spain 05:00 17:00

Barcelona is one of the world's greatest treasures, a global capital of commerce, fashion, culture and sunshine. Cruise visitors should start with a walk down Las Ramblas, the glorious tree-shaded thoroughfare at the heart of the city, enjoy a dive in the wonderful beaches nearby, but, most of all, see what visionary architect Antoni Gaudi wrought. Seven of his creations have been honored as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including La Sagrada Familia, the Park Guell and Casa Mila. Time provided, you can also visit the former Olympic Ring on the hill of Montjuic, home to world-class parks, fountains and museums. Barcelona, which nurtured such artistic giants as Picasso, Dali, Miro and Casals, is definitely a traveler's paradise.

Cannes, France 08:30 18:30

Tourists can check out the beauty and architecture of Le Suquet, with its cobbled streets filled with restaurants and souvenir shops, enjoy breathtaking views from the top of the hill or head to the seaside, sit at street side tables and watch passers-by, who enjoy walking up and down the lovely marina and admiring the yachts of the rich and famous. Time given, visit the Covered Market (Marché Forville) for a spectacular eating and viewing food experience, take a walk at La Croisette, beside the sea or even swim at public beaches aat the far east and west of town.

Among Livorno's main attractions are the Cisternone, an impressive neoclassical building on Viale Giosue Carducci, designed like a Roman bath, the main city square Piazza della Repubblica with Fortezza Nuova (the castle dating back to around 1576) in the background and a number of interesting shops in the city centre that visitors can explore.
