Service Charge 
For all hotel services on board, a mandatory service charge of 10 € per person per day will be added each day to the guest’s account. Payment will be requested at the end of the cruise and depends on how many days the guest’s cruise lasts. Guests may choose to add the service charge to the total to be paid when booking. The predetermined daily amount depends on the date and the destination of the cruise.

We would like to inform you that, in order to guarantee our Guests the highest standards of service, for all cruises departing from 1 May 2022, the amount of the service charges will increase by 1 euro, from € 10 to € 11 per person per day.

The service charge rates to guests over the age of 14. There is no service charge on any cruise for children under the age of 4. Children between the ages of 4 and 14 will be charged 50% of the above rate.



  • All guests aged 2 years and older will be asked to present an official negative Covid antigen test result (or Rapid NAAT or RT-PCR test, whichever is available to our guests) prior to boarding, which must be taken within 48 hours before the boarding time.

    If your itinerary departs from a Greek port, then your antigen test must be taken within 24 hours before the boarding time.

  • Upon boarding, all guests aged 12 years and older, regardless of where they are from, will be asked to present a valid original or digital certificate (Green Pass, CDC Vaccination Record Card or equivalent certificate), which certifies one of the following requirements:

    • Booster shot (3 doses or 1+1 J&J dose)
    • Complete vaccination (2 doses or 1 J&J dose) + recovery from Covid
    • Complete vaccination (2 doses) within the period of validity of the country of embarkation​​​​​​​ (270 days for non Italian European guests embarking in Italy, 270 days for all guests embarking onboard Costa Venezia)
    • Recovery from Covid + 1 dose (or one dose prior to recovery from Covid), within the period of validity of the country of embarkation (540 days for non Italian European guests that embark in Italy)
  • It is no longer necessary to have Covid insurance in order to board. However we recommend purchasing one for additional security.


Cancellation policy

 ° For all new bookings done until 28/4/2022, on cruises with departure date until 30 November 2022 Guests have the possibility to move or cancel their reservation without fees on a new one up to 15 days before departure!

 ° For all bookings already confirmed on cruises with departure date until end of December 2021 , Guests will be allowed to move / cancel their reservation within 30 November 2022.  No cancellation fees will be applied until 15 days before departure!

In the event of cancellation, all sums committed for the cruise portion and paid to Costa can be converted into a voucher/ future cruise credit which you can use for a new cruise, to be booked within 12 months of the issue date of the voucher, with a departure by 30 November 2021 at the latest.

This new policy applies to all rates.

In the event of cancellation/ postponement of a booking confirmed before 31/05/2020, Costa will issue a voucher/future cruise credit of a value equivalent to the total price of the cruise initially booked with Costa, net of commission. This voucher, issued by Costa Cruises, will be sent to the Travel Agency that placed the booking, and made out in the name of the traveller whose name appears on the booking. 

The voucher will be valid exclusively for booking a cruise listed in our schedule; the booking is to be made within the 12 months following the issue date of the voucher, and with a final deadline of 30 November 2021. 

It will be usable only by the named beneficiary/holder, and will therefore under no circumstances be transferable to a third party. It may be combined with catalogue offers and other promotions applicable at the time of reservation. Only in cases where several cabins are booked, and subject to the agreement of all adult travellers, it will be possible to divide the original voucher into multiple vouchers, one per cabin, in the name of the main passenger for each cabin. 

At the time the voucher is issued, Costa Cruises will assign a credit value to the voucher for the amount shown on that voucher, equal to the sums actually paid to Costa Cruises, in respect of the sea travel portion. 

The cruise booking and payment terms between the end customer and the Travel Agency, and between the Travel Agency and Costa Cruises, remain unchanged, and therefore the choice of a new cruise must be made within 12 months of the date of cancellation. 

In order to protect the traveller against any risk of insolvency on the part of the organiser and/or the seller, the usual provisions as stipulated in our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and the provisions of the Tourism Code, remain applicable, under the terms of which the insurance and Financial Guarantee companies, which stand guarantor respectively for the organiser and the retailer, will each provide cover for the traveller within the scope of their respective responsibilities.


In order to confirm a booking a 30% deposit is require of the bookings’ total price. Balance must be paid 30 days prior to departure date. Any booking made in the period of less than 30 days full payment of the booking is required.
To complete the booking and according to the company policy, it is necessary for you to provide full details of all participants (Full Name, Date and Place of Birth) as they are shown on your Passport(s)/ID(s) (depending on the cruise type you have selected). It is also necessary to provide an Emergency Contact (friend or relative) and full contact details (Full name and mobile number) of this person.
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents and for complying with Customs and Immigration requirements. Guest without proper travel documents will not be allowed to board the vessel and no refund of cruise fare will be given to any guest failing to bring such documentation.
In order to avoid problems at departure, we kindly ask you to carefully check the validity of your documents and to be in possession of what is required for the cruise. If any guest does not possess the required documentation they will be denied boarding their flight/cruise and cancellation penalties will be applied.
A valid passport is required for this cruise. (Please check for Visa requirements with you embassy).
