GENERAL INFO

In order to complete the booking, and according to the company policy, it is necessary for you to provide full details of all participants (Full Name, Date and Place of Birth) as they are shown on your Passport(s)/ID(s) (depending on the cruise type you have selected). It is also necessary to provide an Emergency Contact (friend or relative) and full contact details (Full name and mobile number) of this person.

Guests are responsible for ensuring they fulfil all passport and visa requirements for all countries visited during the cruise and when travelling to and from the port of embarkation/disembarkation.
EU citizens need a full passport which must be valid for a minimum of six months beyond their return.
A passport is also required for all European sailings (exception: citizens of Schengen States cruising on itineraries that do not leave EU territory).
During most cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line personnel will need to retain your passport. You therefore have to carry a second government-issued photo ID with you at all times. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to provide all necessary documentation.
Guests are not entitled to a refund if entry into any foreign territory or boarding is denied due to lack of proper documents.
If you would like to go ashore in Russia (St. Petersburg) independently, i.e. not as part of an organized Shore Excursion by Norwegian Cruise Line, you need to obtain a valid tourist visa prior to your cruise.

NORWEGIAN’S PEACE OF MIND

What is Norwegian’s Peace of Mind?

Peace of Mind is the company's new temporary policy that allows new and existing individual and group bookings on non-chartered sailings embarking from 10 March 2020 through and including 30 September 2020 to cancel their booking up until 48 hours from the start of their vacation date and receive a full refund in the form of a future cruise credit coupon (FCC). The FCC may be used for sailings that embark on or before 31 December 2022. The new booking must be made within one year of the cancellation date.

Norwegian Cruise Line reserves the right to modify the policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated.

Using the Future Cruise Credit (FCC)

All future cruise credit coupons must be redeemed within one year from issue date and can be used for sailings departing on or before 31 December 2022. FCCs can be used for any purchase other than an onboard credit (OBC). FCCs will be credited to the guests via their Latitudes number within seven working days after cancellation.

If the cruise fare for the new booking exceeds the FCC's value, guests will be responsible for the difference. Alternatively, if the new cruise fare is lower than the FCC's value, a new FCC will be issued for the remaining balance.

Future reservations are subject to prevailing fares and offers in market at the time of booking.

Calculating the FCC

The following will be applied to the FCC:

  • Cruise fare
  • Flight arrangements booked through Norwegian Cruise Line
  • Any additional items sold by Norwegian Cruise Line except Onboard Credits (OBC), such as Free at Sea upgrade or individual dining and beverage packages
  • Prepaid service charges

The following will not be applied to the FCC:

  • Travel Protection
  • Special Promotional Onboard Credits (OBC)

At time of cancellation, all promotional offers and amenities will be removed from the booking and will not carry over to future reservations. All pre-cruise purchases will be included in the FCC issued (excluding OBC).

Additional information

  • The policy applies to existing and active bookings for sailings from 10 March 2020 through 30 September 2020.
  • The policy does not apply to bookings cancelled prior to 10 March 2020.
  • Final payment is based on our current standard policy.
  • If you wish to cancel send an email to [email protected]
  • If you do not want to benefit from the Peace of Mind policy, please note that you have to contact our call center and the regular terms and conditions will apply.

Our measures against COVID-19

The safety and well-being of guests and team members are Norwegian Cruise Line's number one priority. The company has a Chief Medical Officer on staff as well as dozens of medical professionals throughout its fleet, and it continues to consult with The World Health Organisation (WHO) and the U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to make the best decisions possible and take appropriate action as needed.

Norwegian Cruise Line is very proud of the protocols and preventative measures it has in place to address concerns regarding COVID-19. In addition to extensive cleaning and disinfection protocols on board all voyages and health screenings of passengers and crew members, the Company has been denying boarding to guests who have travelled from, visited or transited via high-risk areas; and it has modified several sailings to avoid areas of concern.

At the current time, our plans are to avoid any area that is denoted as a 'Level 4 - do not travel' area by the State Department at the time of voyage. We will modify any itinerary visiting those areas approximately 30 days prior to arrival date to avoid last-minute changes. As always, we will continue to monitor all State Department advisories and take appropriate action as necessary.

THE CRUISE

DAY ARRIVAL DEPARTURE
Piraeus/Athens, Greece - 17:00

Piraeus port is the gateway to Athens center. Don't miss the Parthenon, the temple to Athena which looms over Athens from its perch atop the Acropolis, an eternal icon of art and civilization. Completed in 438 B.C., the temple still astounds as the flowering of Greek art and architecture. When you come down off the hill, don't miss a visit to the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, the Acropolis Museum and the city's historic centre, around Plaka. Ideally, sit and relax at a cafe on the foot of the hill, sample some Greek souvlaki or a frappe, take a glance back up the hill from time to time and give the goddess her due.

Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey 06:30 00:30

Kusadasi is a popular resort along the coasts of Asia Minor, our base of the exploration of nearby ancient town of Ephesus, which has one of the largest collections of ruins in the eastern Mediterranean. In the first century B.C., it was one of the largest cities in the world, boasting the Great Theater which 24.000 people, the Temple of Artemis, which was one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Library of Celsus, which was considered the finest in creation. Today, we can see only parts of the ancient glory but still, you will definitely be enchanted. Don't miss the chance to visit the local bazaar in Kusadasi.

Patmos, Greece 18:30 23:59

Patmos is one of the northernmost islands of the Dodecanese island cluster. Patmos is mentioned in the Bible Book of Revelation, written by St John the Apostle, who is believed to have lived in the Cave of the Apocalypse and was instructed by a heavenly figure to write down the contents of a vision. Thus, Patmos is a destination for Christian pilgrimage, a picturesque island that keeps evolving without losing its air of quiet tranquility. In 1999, the island's historic center Chora, along with the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian and the Cave of the Apocalypse, were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.

At Sea --

Fun Day at Sea

Ashdod, Israel 06:00 23:00

Ashdod is the largest port in Israel and a gateway to Jerusalem, the 5,000-year-old walled city that is considered sacred to more than a third of the people on Earth. Among the numerous sites nearby, we can see the Jewish sacred Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre said to be the site of Calvary and to contain a piece of the true cross. Once back in Ashdod, you can stroll along the seaside promenade or HaMidrehof, an area that is being termed the Southern Riviera of the city and includes many spectacular beaches. Dip your toes in the Dead Sea waters, visit the Bar-Gera Museum to view a collection of art by artists who were either banned or persecuted by the Nazis and other fascist governments and don't forget to see the Yad Vashem Memorial Museum, which is dedicated to the six million Jews who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

Haifa-, Israel 06:00 20:00

Haifa is the largest city in northern Israel, and the third largest city in the country, with a population of over 272,181. The city is home to the Baha'i World Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today the city is an important port on the Mediterranean coast of Israel and is located in the Gulf of Haifa with an area of 63.7 sq.km. It is home to Matam, one of the oldest and largest high-tech parks in the country.

Limassol, Cyprus 06:30 14:30

Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus and important transit harbor in the Mediterranean, located on the island's south coast, in the Greek sector of Cyprus. A delicious place to sun-worship. Limassol Castle occupies a dominant position in the landmark and tourist attractions in the city. It is the imperial castle where Richard the Lionhearted married Queen Berengaria in 1191. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of Museums (Archaeological, Folk Art) and archaeological sites (Kourion, Limassol Castle, Amathus Ruins etc).

Santorini, Greece 13:00 21:00

Santorini is essentially what remains of an enormous volcanic explosion dated back 3,600 years (between 1627- 1600 BC) and which created the current geological caldera: a giant central lagoon, more or less rectangular, measuring about 12 by 7 km. The effect is still explosive: 300-m-high steep cliffs on three sides rise from sea level, cubic white houses surrounded by pink bougainvilleas glow in the Aegean sun. The wild beauty, the fascinating Caldera, the gold sunset, of the Number 1 destination in Greece will steal your heart away!
